Regenerative Skin Support

Skin Boosters & Regenerative SupportNewstead, Brisbane

Body Dezign House is a doctor-led clinic in Newstead, Brisbane. Skin boosters are not one treatment. They are a group of regenerative treatments that support your skin, rather than change the shape of your face. The aim is healthier, better hydrated, better quality skin. Some are serums applied during microneedling. Others help your skin recover after RF microneedling and laser. In some cases, we may talk about regenerative treatments. Every skin booster consultation here is guided by your skin and how strong your skin barrier is.

Understanding Skin Boosters

Skin Boosters

About Dr Asadi
Skin boosters are not one product or one answer. The best of what we now call regenerative skin support is simple in principle: match the right regenerative serum to the layer of skin that is actually losing ground, and to the pace of recovery the skin can really manage. Used in the right way, they make ordinary skincare and ordinary peels work better. Used in the wrong way, they ask the skin to do work it cannot do, and the cost shows up later.

Skin booster consultation and skin assessment at Body Dezign House Newstead, Brisbane

Our approach is careful and honest. We look at what is really driving your concern. It might be loss of hydration, a weakened skin barrier, thinning of the collagen scaffold, the effect of years of sun, or a mix of these. We also look at whether any treatment is genuinely right for you.

Skin Booster Assessment

Concerns Skin Boosters
May Address

Skin boosters are for skin quality. They help with dryness, dullness, a weakened skin barrier, and the slow thinning that comes with age and sun. They are not the right answer for every concern. Whether they suit your skin is something we work out together at the assessment.

Dehydration
& Tired Skin

The most common reason patients in Brisbane ask about skin boosters is a complexion that has slowly lost its freshness: skin that drinks up moisturiser without holding it, looks flat by the end of the day, and feels less resilient than it used to. Hydration sits deep in the skin as much as on the surface, and modern skin boosters are made to support both. We usually suggest them as part of a longer skin-quality plan rather than a single session.

Skin Quality
& Radiance

Radiance comes mostly from even hydration, a healthy skin barrier, and a smooth surface that reflects light well. We often talk about skin boosters when the skin looks fine up close, but no longer looks bright and rested from across a room.

Barrier
Repair

When the skin barrier is weakened, the skin reacts to products that used to sit well, flushes more easily, and loses moisture through the day. Regenerative serums that support and rebuild the skin barrier are often part of the conversation here.

Fine Lines
& Crepey Texture

Fine lines at rest and a crepey, papery surface often come from early changes deep in the skin and low hydration, rather than movement alone. For these surface concerns, we often talk about regenerative support that reaches the deeper skin, alongside steady daily skincare and sun protection. Sun protection matters even more in Brisbane.

Post-Procedure Recovery
& Inflammation

Recovery is one of the most important parts of any energy-based or resurfacing treatment. We often talk about regenerative serums applied straight after microneedling, RF microneedling, or fractional laser, because they can help the skin barrier repair, calm redness and swelling, and let the skin settle smoothly. We match the plan to the treatment and to you rather than choose it in advance, and it is decided at your consultation.

Collagen
Support

The collagen and elastin scaffold in the deeper skin thins from the late thirties onward. Regenerative skin support is often part of an ongoing plan to help keep the skin firm and dense, rather than a one-off step.

Clinical Philosophy
Firm, healthy skin depends on collagen, on hydration, and on the skin's own ability to renew itself. As these slow down over time, the skin can look less resilient and less settled. My aim is to support the skin's natural ability to repair and strengthen, so it works at its best. I would rather support your skin than try to change it.

The Experience

Your Consultation
in Brisbane

Your consultation at our Brisbane clinic starts with a conversation about your concerns and what you would like to achieve. We review your medical history, carefully assess your skin, and use VISIA skin analysis where appropriate to gain a better understanding of your skin's condition. We then explain our findings, discuss the treatment options that may be suitable for you, and answer your questions so you have a clear understanding of the benefits, possible risks, and alternatives before deciding whether to proceed. Treatments We
May Discuss

The treatments listed here are examples of what may be considered. They are not a treatment plan and do not mean you will need all of them. Your recommendation may include one option, a combination, or a different approach altogether after your skin has been properly assessed at our Brisbane clinic.

Microneedling-Assisted Skin Boosters

Skin Needling with Special Serum

Medical-grade microneedling delivered with carefully chosen regenerative serums during and straight after treatment. The tiny channels made during microneedling let the regenerative serums reach the deeper skin, where everyday skincare cannot. We often talk about it for hydration, fine lines, and overall skin quality, and it suits patients building a longer skin-quality plan.

RF Microneedling with Booster Support

Vivace RF Microneedling

Radiofrequency-assisted microneedling delivered with regenerative serums chosen for your concern. The radiofrequency adds gentle, controlled heat to the collagen-rich layers of the deeper skin, while the serums support hydration, barrier recovery, and skin quality through the healing window. We often talk about it for early skin laxity, fine lines, and the mix of texture and uneven tone that comes with years of sun.

Morpheus8

RF microneedling that works a little deeper than Vivace, with adjustable tips that let us treat the deeper skin in a controlled way. Regenerative serums applied straight after support healing and the overall result. We most often talk about it for more established skin laxity, deeper texture concerns, and a mix of concerns together.

Regenerative Skin Treatments

Regenerative Skin Support

Regenerative skin support using treatments that help with deep hydration, collagen renewal, and overall skin quality. We most often talk about it for the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, where the skin is thinner and shows the effect of years of sun. Whether regenerative treatments suit you, which form is right for your skin, and what plan makes sense is only decided at a full consultation.

Light-Based Recovery Support

Healite II

Low-level light therapy we often talk about as a supportive step alongside microneedling, RF microneedling, peels, and laser treatments. We frequently include it to help recovery and support overall skin quality through a regenerative treatment course.

Skincare We Stock

Universkin Le Sérum Hyaluronique

A hyaluronic serum we stock, for skin that looks and feels dehydrated.

All cosmetic procedures carry some risk and possible side effects. Whether a treatment suits you, what might rule it out, and the full range of possible complications are all discussed at your consultation. Individual results vary, and no outcome can be guaranteed. Questions

Frequently
Asked

Skin boosters are a group of regenerative treatments that focus on hydration, the skin's collagen support, and a healthy skin barrier. They are different from chemical peels, which work on the outer layer, and from treatments aimed at the structure or shape of the face, which work in a different way. Some skin boosters are applied during microneedling. Others help the skin recover after RF microneedling and laser. In some cases, we may talk about regenerative treatments. We decide the right form for you at your consultation rather than choosing it in advance.

Most skin booster plans are a course, not a single session. How many you need depends on the form (a topical course with microneedling, or a course of regenerative treatments), the concern we are treating, and how your skin responds. A topical course is usually three to five sessions, one to two weeks apart. That pathway follows a different pattern that we decide at your consultation. After that, we often suggest a maintenance session every two to three months, and sometimes every three to six months, depending on your skin and lifestyle. Individual results vary.

Downtime depends on how the treatment is delivered. Topical skin boosters applied during microneedling usually cause mild redness and a warm feeling for a few hours up to a day, and the skin settles back to normal over one to two days. RF microneedling usually means two to four days of redness and tightness. Regenerative treatments can have a different recovery again. We will talk you through what to expect, and how to look after your skin, before we book any treatment.

We most often talk about skin boosters for adults who want to improve dry or dull skin, early fine lines, mild laxity, recovery after a procedure, and overall skin quality. They may not suit everyone. We would usually wait or suggest something else during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active skin infection (including cold sores), on irritated or inflamed skin, if you are allergic to a key ingredient (including marine-derived ingredients in some products), with severe dermatitis, with some autoimmune conditions, or if you have recently used a strong oral acne treatment. Whether they suit you depends on your own situation, and we decide that together at a consultation.

Results from a course of skin boosters usually build over several weeks as your skin's hydration, barrier, and collagen support improve step by step. The effect of a finished course usually lasts several months, after which maintenance sessions help hold the result over time. How long it lasts depends on your skin type, your daily skincare, how much sun you get, and your lifestyle. We talk through all of this at your consultation. Individual results vary.

Yes. We most often use skin boosters as part of a broader skin-quality plan rather than on their own. They work well alongside microneedling, RF microneedling, and laser treatments, and can also sit with chemical peels, PRX-Plus, and steady daily skincare. The order we do things in depends on the concern, what your skin can tolerate, and how quickly it recovers. We plan all of this together at your consultation.

Skin boosters are generally low-risk, but no treatment is completely risk-free, and the risks depend on how the booster is delivered. The most common effects are temporary: redness, mild swelling, tenderness, bruising, and pinpoint bleeding where the skin is treated. These usually settle within a few hours to a few days. Small lumps can form where the product sits under the skin, and these usually resolve on their own. Less common risks include infection, a flare of cold sores if you are prone to them, and an allergic reaction. Some regenerative serums are marine-derived, so allergies matter here. Treatments that use heat or deeper microneedling, such as RF microneedling, carry a small added risk of burns, prolonged redness, or marks on the skin. In darker skin types, there is a higher chance of temporary changes in pigmentation. Rare risks include scarring, lumps that persist, and an uneven or disappointing result. As with anything placed into the skin, there is also a rare risk involving blood vessels. We explain the risks that apply to your treatment in full at your consultation, and again on the day. You will find more detail on our Risks & Complications page.
