Male Aesthetic Assessment

Men's Aesthetics & Masculine ProfileNewstead, Brisbane

Body Dezign House is a doctor-led clinic in Newstead, Brisbane. A man's face is built differently to a woman's. The bone is stronger, the skin is thicker, the muscle is heavier, and each of these ages in its own way. So any thoughtful assessment for men has to start from those differences. Every consultation here is guided by your anatomy, looks at the whole face rather than one feature on its own, and carries no obligation to go ahead.

Men's Aesthetic Concerns
in Brisbane

About Dr Asadi
Male assessment is rarely about adding youth. More often it is about keeping the features (the jaw, the temple, the brow) that make a face look like the patient's own. It is about being honest about which changes are worth treating and which simply aren't. A careful consultation is not there to feminise a male face, and not to over-correct what a man has lived with for decades. It is there to understand the anatomy first.

Our approach is careful and honest. We look at what is really driving your concern. It might be the bone losing volume, change in the deep or surface fat, heavier muscle, looser skin, or a mix of these. We also look at whether any treatment is genuinely right for you.

Men's Aesthetic Assessment

Areas Commonly
Assessed

Men's concerns can sit in a few different areas of the face and neck. Each area has its own pattern of male anatomy and its own way of changing over time. Some concerns come from structure, some from age, and some from both.

Most Commonly Assessed

Jawline &
Lower Face Definition

The jawline is the concern men raise most often. A clear jaw angle, a clean line from chin to neck, and a balanced lower face all shape how a male face reads. We look at the bone, the soft tissue that supports it, the angle where the jaw meets the neck, and how all of this shifts with weight, age, and time.

Temple
Hollowing

Hollowing at the temples is a common change with age in men, and it often shows up earlier than in women, because the fat pads sit differently. As the temples lose volume, the upper face can look a little narrower and light falls differently across the brow. We look at the bone, the soft tissue, and the balance of the whole upper face.

Under-Eye
Region

Under-eye hollows, dark circles, and fine lines often look different in men, because the skin is thicker and the bone around the eye is stronger. We look at the structure, your sleep, and the everyday things that can play a part.

Skin Texture
& Quality

Men's skin is thicker, firmer, and oilier than women's, with larger pores and lines that form in their own pattern. Acne scarring, large pores, and uneven texture come up often. We look at the surface of the skin, how oily it tends to be, and any scarring underneath.

Facial
Ageing

Men's faces tend to change in their own way. The temples hollow, the eyes look more set, the jaw and neck soften, the brow drops, and the lower face loses some of its earlier definition. These changes often build on each other, and a man often notices them later than the people around him. We work out which changes are deeper and lasting, and which sit on the surface and come and go.

Hair &
Beard Line

Many men raise concerns about the hairline, the beard line, and the area under the chin. We look at how thick the hair is, where it sits, and how the hair-bearing areas relate to the lower face.

Clinical Philosophy
Men often age differently to women. The skin is usually thicker, the bones are stronger, and the way volume and skin change over time can be quite different. So the things men notice, and the treatments that might help, are often different too. In your consultation I look at each concern on its own, and I am honest about which options may help and when surgery is the better choice.

The Experience

Your Consultation
in Brisbane

Your consultation at our Brisbane clinic starts with a conversation about your concerns and what you would like to achieve. We review your medical history, carefully assess the face and underlying structure, and use VISIA skin analysis where appropriate to gain a better understanding of your skin's condition. We then explain our findings, discuss the treatment options that may be suitable for you, and answer your questions so you have a clear understanding of the benefits, possible risks, and alternatives before deciding whether to proceed. Approaches

Treatments We
May Discuss

The treatments listed here are examples of what may be considered. They are not a treatment plan and do not mean you will need all of them. Your recommendation may include one option, a combination, or a different approach altogether after you have been properly assessed at our Brisbane clinic.

Lower Face Support

Jawline Strengthening

We assess how defined and how supported your jawline is, working with male anatomy. The options we discuss aim to strengthen and define the jawline and lower face, so they sit in balance with the rest of the face.

Tissue Support & Lifting

Ultherapy

Focused ultrasound that works on the deeper layers under the skin to support and firm the lower face, jawline, and neck. It may suit men concerned about skin laxity, a softer jaw-neck line, or the shape of the lower face. This needs its own consultation.

Aptos Thread Lifts

Gentle lifting that uses fine barbed threads to support and define the male jaw, mid-face, and neck. Dr Asadi is an accredited Aptos Threads Official Trainer.

Facial Sculpting

Facial Sculpting

The male face can be shaped using treatments that add or restore support in certain areas, such as the jaw, chin, temples, and mid-face. Whether this suits you, which areas to work on, and which treatments fit your anatomy is only decided at a full consultation.

All cosmetic procedures carry some risk and possible side effects. Whether a treatment suits you, what might rule it out, and the full range of possible complications are all discussed at your consultation. Individual results vary, and no outcome can be guaranteed. Questions

Frequently
Asked

Men often raise the jawline, hollow temples, under-eye changes, skin texture and acne scarring, the hairline or beard line, and heavy sweating. The pattern is different from women, because men have thicker skin, stronger bone, larger oil glands, and different muscle activity. We look at each concern as part of the whole face, not on its own.

A man's face is built differently. The bone underneath is stronger, the skin is thicker, the fat under the skin sits in different amounts, and the soft tissue ages in its own pattern. A good male assessment respects those differences from the start, rather than borrowing a plan made for a female face. The result is a plan that fits how a man's face actually behaves. Individual results vary.

Yes, when the plan is built around male anatomy from the start, rather than borrowed from a plan made for women. The aim is to keep the features that read as masculine, such as the jaw, brow, temple, and jaw angle, not to soften them. Whether a treatment suits you, and how we would approach it, is decided at your consultation. Individual results vary.

It depends on the treatment, how your body breaks things down, your lifestyle, and the area treated. Men's tissue is its own thing, with thicker skin, stronger muscle activity, and different oil patterns, and all of that can change how long a result lasts. Your clinician will talk you through what to expect at your consultation. Individual results vary.

Comfort is different for each person and each treatment. At Body Dezign House, we talk through how we keep you comfortable, including numbing cream and careful technique, before anything is done. If clinical procedures make you anxious, or you do not cope well with discomfort, please tell us at your consultation so we can plan around it.

There is no single age. Some men come in during their late twenties or thirties about acne scarring or texture. Others come in their forties or fifties about the jawline or hollow temples. Some come later, about bigger changes with age. What matters more than your age is whether a concern is genuinely bothering you or changing how you feel about your face.

All cosmetic procedures carry some risk, including bruising, swelling, unevenness, infection, problems with blood vessels, and a result you may not be happy with. The exact risks depend on the treatment, and we explain them in full at your consultation and again on the day. Full information is on our Risks & Complications page. Individual results vary.
