The Physician
Two Decades
in Cosmetic Medicine & General Practice
Dr Fatemeh Asadi is a GP and cosmetic physician with two decades in cosmetic medicine and general practice. She founded Body Dezign House in Newstead, Brisbane, because she had a clear idea of how cosmetic medicine should work in a clinical setting. Assess thoroughly first. Talk honestly, always. And aim for results that work with your anatomy, not against it.
Her training as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) shapes every consultation she leads at the Newstead, Brisbane clinic. She looks at the whole person first. That means your medical history, your hormones, your skin, and what is going on in your life, before any treatment is considered. This is what general practice brings to cosmetic medicine.
Dr Fatemeh Asadi, MD, FRACGP brings two decades in cosmetic medicine and general practice to every consultation. She is a Key Opinion Leader for Merz Aesthetics and an Official Trainer for Aptos Threads. This reflects her ongoing role in cosmetic medicine education, including attending national and international conferences, training other doctors and nurses, and contributing her clinical knowledge to the wider medical aesthetics community.
The clinic serves patients from right across Brisbane, including the inner-north suburbs of New Farm, Teneriffe, Fortitude Valley, Hamilton, Ascot, and the wider Newstead area. Patients travel from across greater Brisbane to see Dr Asadi for considered, doctor-led care.
The best cosmetic result is the one no one notices, except the person who receives it. My job is to understand the anatomy well enough to know where the line sits, and to be honest enough to say when we have reached it.

Clinical Philosophy
Good cosmetic medicine is invisible. Not because nothing changed, but because everything moved the way the face was already going. I believe every person has their own beauty. I see culture and heritage in every face I assess. And I believe safety and honesty are not extras. They are the foundation.

Beyond the Credentials
The Person
Behind the Practice
Qualifications tell you about a doctor's training, but they don't tell you who they are.
Outside the clinic, Dr Asadi enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of life's simple moments. She loves travelling, discovering different cultures, and meeting people from different walks of life. She believes every place and every person has something to teach us.
Photography has been one of her passions for many years. Whether she's travelling or exploring Brisbane with her camera, she enjoys capturing natural light, everyday moments, and the beauty that often goes unnoticed.
Medicine is always changing, and Dr Asadi believes learning never stops. She regularly attends conferences, advanced training courses, and workshops in Australia and overseas. She also enjoys teaching, presenting, and learning alongside other doctors and healthcare professionals, always looking for ways to continue growing in her profession.
Women's health has always been close to Dr Asadi's heart. She has a particular interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, recognising that hormonal changes can affect not only the body, but also energy, sleep, mood, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
She is also passionate about longevity medicine and helping people stay healthier for longer. Her focus is not simply on appearance, but on supporting women to feel their best at every stage of life through education, prevention, and personalised care.
As a doctor, a woman, and a mother, Dr Asadi understands how easy it is for women to put everyone else's needs before their own. She believes every woman deserves the time, support, and knowledge to look after her health and wellbeing.
One of the things she often says to her patients is:
"Ageing is a natural part of life. My goal is to help you feel healthy, confident, and comfortable in your own skin, whatever your age."
More than anything, she enjoys getting to know her patients. She believes every person has a different story, and that the best care starts with listening, understanding what matters to them, and helping them make informed decisions without pressure.
Approach & Consultation
How Dr Asadi Works
at Body Dezign House
A considered starting point
Your consultation at our Brisbane clinic starts with a conversation about your concerns and what you would like to achieve. We review your medical history, carefully assess your concern and your skin, and use VISIA skin analysis where appropriate to gain a better understanding of your skin's condition. We then explain our findings, discuss the treatment options that may be suitable for you, and answer your questions so you have a clear understanding of the benefits, possible risks, and alternatives before deciding whether to proceed. Individual results vary. Risks & Complications →
Listening first
A consultation in Newstead, Brisbane starts with listening. Dr Asadi asks what has brought you in, what you have noticed over time, and how you hope to feel afterwards. The conversation takes the time it needs, and where to go from there is entirely your choice. People come to the Newstead, Brisbane clinic from across the city for exactly this kind of unhurried, doctor-led conversation.
A thorough assessment
Your assessment at our Brisbane clinic is thorough and doctor-led. Dr Asadi looks closely at your medical history, your skin, and your facial anatomy, the structure and shape of your face. This careful groundwork is what lets her be honest about what suits you and what does not. Individual results vary.
Honest options
Only after listening and assessing does Dr Asadi talk through the options. She explains what each approach can and cannot do, the evidence behind it, and the risks involved. That way, any decision you make at the Newstead, Brisbane clinic is fully informed. You can read more on the risks and complications page.
A physician-led philosophy
Dr Asadi and our team share an approach that is led by anatomy and never rushed. Every consultation at our Brisbane clinic looks at the face as a whole before any treatment is discussed. That includes how the area of concern relates to the features around it, alongside your history, how your tissue behaves, and your goals. If an option is not the right tool, we will say so plainly. We will talk through what may suit you better, including a referral when that is the wiser path.
