Dr Fatemeh Asadi is the Official Trainer for Aptos Thread Lifts in Australia and a Key Opinion Leader for Merz Aesthetics. Through these roles she trains other clinicians and helps shape the techniques and treatments she uses in her own practice.

At Body Dezign House, every Aptos thread lift is carried out by Dr Asadi herself.

Her consultations often begin with a clear explanation of facial ageing. The face does not age in one single way. It changes in layers, and each layer changes for a different reason. The skin gradually loses collagen and elastin, which can affect firmness, texture and tone. The facial fat pads that once gave the face softness and lift can reduce in volume and shift downward, leading to flatter cheeks and deeper folds. Beneath this, ligaments loosen and the underlying bone structure can slowly lose support, changing the framework of the face over time.

Because each layer changes differently, each concern needs to be assessed differently. Skin quality, texture and tone may require treatments that work at the surface. Changes in facial support, heaviness or descent may require a deeper structural approach. The aim is not to treat every face the same way, but to identify what has changed and choose an approach that is appropriate for that person.

As a GP and cosmetic physician, Dr Asadi’s consultations can also extend beyond skin and facial ageing. Through Body Dezign House, the doctor-led clinic she founded in Newstead, Brisbane, she also offers women’s health consultations and longevity medicine, including support for perimenopause, menopause and related hormonal changes.

We assess and talk through the changes the body goes through during perimenopause and menopause. Management options are discussed at your consultation.

PCOS & Hormonal Health

Assessment of PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and related hormonal concerns. We discuss these with you individually at consultation.

IV Nutrient Therapy

A medical assessment and suitability review are needed before any IV therapy. It is given by a registered nurse. No therapeutic claims are made.

Some treatments begin with VISIA skin imaging, which gives us a clearer baseline to talk through. It can help assess concerns such as UV damage, pigmentation, texture and visible skin change. Other treatments start with a medical assessment, where we review your suitability based on your skin, health history, goals and individual risk factors.

All cosmetic procedures carry some risk. We explain these in full before any treatment is considered. We also set out clearly what might rule a treatment out, its limits, and the alternatives.

Skin Imaging Technology

VISIA Skin Analysis

VISIA Skin Analysis gives us a clearer view of what is happening in your skin, beyond what a standard photo can show. Using special cross-polarised and UV imaging, which looks beneath the surface, it helps identify concerns such as sun damage, pigmentation, texture, redness and other skin changes.

As part of your consultation, your images are reviewed alongside your medical history, skin concerns and treatment goals. This helps guide a treatment plan based on both clinical assessment and objective skin imaging.

You see what we see, and we explain what it means clearly before any treatment is recommended.

Objective imaging does not replace clinical judgment. It adds a layer of precision to the discussion we were already having.
