Body ContouringNewstead, Brisbane
Body contouring at Body Dezign House uses Evolve X. It is a hands-free machine that works on three layers at once: the skin, the fat just under it, and the muscle below. This is not a weight loss treatment. It is for people who are near a steady weight. They may want to work on a stubborn area, on mild to moderate skin laxity (loose skin), or on muscle tone. We treat the tummy, the sides of the waist, the thighs and the arms. Every course starts with a consultation at our doctor-led clinic in Newstead, Brisbane.
The body's outline is shaped by three layers at once, and when one falls behind, you can see it on the surface. What looks like a body contouring concern is really the skin, the fat beneath it and the muscle below, each adding something different to the shape. A good consultation reads each layer on its own, and is honest about what this kind of treatment can and cannot do.Dr Fatemeh Asadi, MD, FRACGP

Our approach is careful and honest. We look at what is really driving your concern. It might be loose skin, a little stubborn fat, a change in the muscle tone underneath, or a mix of these. We also look at whether any treatment is genuinely right for you, here at our Brisbane clinic.
Areas Commonly
Assessed
Evolve X is used on the tummy, the sides of the waist, the thighs and the arms. At our Newstead clinic in Brisbane, we look at each area across all three layers, the skin, the fat and the muscle, before talking about any course.
Abdomen
& Flanks
The tummy and the sides of the waist are the areas we treat most often with Evolve X. We look at how firm or loose the skin is across the lower and upper tummy, where any stubborn fat sits, and how toned the muscle underneath feels. All three applicators can play a part here, and we often talk about using Tite, Tone and Transform together, depending on what your assessment shows.
Outer & Inner
Thighs
We check the outer and inner thighs for loose skin, texture and any loss of firmness. When the skin is the main concern, Tite is the first choice. When both the skin and the muscle are involved, we may talk about Transform. This is the area where the overlap with cellulite concerns comes up most.
Upper
Arms
On the upper arms, we look at loose skin and muscle tone together. Tite helps firm the skin and Tone helps condition the muscle. Which one we lean on depends on which layer needs the most help.
Skin Laxity
& Firmness
Mild to moderate skin laxity (loose skin) is where Evolve X works best and the evidence is strongest. We work out whether the change is in the skin itself, where Tite and its radiofrequency heat can help, or in the deeper layers. If the skin is very loose, a surgical opinion may suit you better, and we will tell you so plainly.
Muscle Tone
& Definition
When we look at muscle tone with Tone or Transform, we take in how active you already are, how strong and defined the muscles are now, and what you are hoping for. Evolve X is not a replacement for strength training. It works best alongside an active lifestyle. Some people become less active through illness, an injury or a busy stretch of life. Others struggle to build muscle in one area despite training. In both cases, the muscle stimulation in Evolve X can help support the rebuilding as part of a wider plan. We will be honest at your consultation about what a hands-free muscle programme can and cannot do.
Localised
Stubborn Areas
Stubborn spots that stay put even with a steady weight and an active life are checked across all three layers. Evolve X does not lower your overall weight. But when the concern is one specific area and you are near a steady weight, it may be worth discussing.
The waistline tends to change slowly over the years. What you see on the surface is often a mix of loose skin, a little stubborn fat, and a change in the muscle tone underneath. A careful consultation looks at each of these on its own, and is honest about what body remodelling can improve and where it reaches its limits.Dr Fatemeh Asadi MD, FRACGP · GP & Cosmetic Physician

Treatments We
May Discuss
At our Newstead clinic in Brisbane, Body Dezign House uses the Evolve X system for body contouring. All three applicators are available. Which one suits you depends on what your assessment shows. Individual results vary. No outcome can be guaranteed.
Evolve Tite: Skin Remodelling
Evolve Tite uses radiofrequency energy, a gentle controlled heat, sent through eight hands-free pads to warm the skin and the layer just beneath it evenly. That warmth prompts the skin to build collagen, so it gradually feels firmer and looks less loose over the course. Tite suits the tummy, the sides of the waist, the thighs and the upper arms where mild to moderate loose skin is the main concern. A session feels like a warm, comfortable heat on the area. Each session runs 40 to 60 minutes, and a typical course is 6 to 12 weekly sessions.
Evolve Tone: Muscle Conditioning
Evolve Tone uses electrical muscle stimulation, or EMS, sent through four hands-free pads to make the muscle contract on its own. Over a course, this helps tone, strengthen and define the muscle in the area treated. Tone suits people who want better muscle tone, whether on its own or alongside work on the skin. You feel the muscle tightening and releasing, and most people get used to it quickly. Each session runs 40 to 60 minutes, and a typical course is 6 to 12 weekly sessions.
Evolve Transform: Combined Remodelling
Evolve Transform gives you both radiofrequency heat and muscle stimulation in the one session. It works on the skin, the fat under it and the muscle together, so it is the most complete of the three applicators. Transform suits people where more than one layer is part of the change. It is the one we discuss most for the tummy and the sides of the waist, where loose skin, skin quality and muscle tone are all part of the goal. Each session runs 40 to 60 minutes, and a typical course is 6 to 12 weekly sessions.
Course Structure
A standard course is 6 to 12 sessions, once a week. Results build as you go, and keep developing for several months after your last session as the skin and muscle finish responding. What a realistic course looks like for your areas and goals is talked through in full at your consultation in Brisbane.
Maintenance
Once the first course is done, maintenance sessions help keep the firmer skin and better muscle tone over time. We plan a maintenance schedule with you after we see how your skin and tissue have responded. Some people come monthly; others need less. Individual results vary and maintenance needs differ.
ALASTIN TransFORM Body Complex™ with TriHex Technology®
A body skincare product we stock at the clinic, often discussed alongside contouring treatments for the look and feel of the skin on treated areas.
All cosmetic procedures carry some risk and possible side effects. Whether a treatment suits you, what might rule it out, and the full range of possible complications are all talked through at your consultation. Individual results vary. No outcome can be guaranteed. Evolve X is not a weight loss treatment and is not right for treating obesity. Read about Risks & Complications →

Frequently
Asked
Evolve X is a hands-free body remodelling system with three applicators: Tite, Tone and Transform. Tite uses radiofrequency heat to warm the skin and the layer just under it, which helps build collagen and firm the skin. Tone uses electrical muscle stimulation to make the muscle contract, which helps with muscle tone and strength. Transform combines the heat and the muscle work in one session, treating the skin, the fat under it and the muscle together. Which applicators suit you depends on what your assessment shows.
No. Evolve X is not a weight loss treatment, and it is not right for treating obesity. It is for people at or near a steady weight who want to work on mild to moderate loose skin, improve muscle tone, or refine a stubborn pocket of fat that diet and exercise alone have not shifted. Losing a lot of weight needs a different medical approach. Whether it suits you is decided at a consultation, not online.
Most courses are 6 to 12 sessions, once a week. The exact number depends on the area, which applicators we use, and what your assessment shows. Results build gradually as the skin makes new collagen and the muscle conditions over the course. We talk about maintenance sessions after the first course. Individual results vary.
It depends on which layer is the main concern. Tite suits loose skin. Tone suits people whose main goal is muscle tone and definition. Transform suits people where the skin, the fat under it and the muscle are all involved. We often use more than one applicator within a single course. The right combination is decided at your consultation at our Newstead clinic in Brisbane, not online.
Most people find Evolve X sessions comfortable. Tite feels like a warmth on the area. Tone and Transform feel like the muscle tightening and releasing, which most people get used to quickly. A session runs 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the area and which applicators we use. The machine is hands-free and there is no downtime, so most people go straight back to their day.
Evolve X suits adults at or near a steady weight who want to work on mild to moderate loose skin, improve muscle tone, or refine an area that diet and exercise alone have not shifted. It is not a weight loss treatment and is not right for treating obesity. It is usually not suitable during pregnancy, where there is a metal implant in the area, or where there is an active skin infection there. Whether it suits you is decided at your consultation.
All cosmetic procedures carry risks, including bruising, swelling, asymmetry, infection, vascular events, and unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome. Specific risks depend on the treatment and are explained in full at consultation and again on the day of treatment. Full information is available on our Risks & Complications page.
