Whether they’re leg veins, spider veins, port wine stains or others, most people find that these may limit your choice in clothing options and confidence. Periods of major hormonal changes such as pregnancy and menopause also tend to be a reason for the development of thread veins, why it’s also seen more commonly in females. Factors that cause it that can be minimised to a certain degree include sun, wind and extreme temperature exposure.
